proscenium contemporary art museum
Teams of students selected a schematic design or unbuilt competition project to develop through the Design Development studio. This particular competition project was first designed by EBV (Estudio Barozzi Vega) in 2001 for the historic center of Dresden, Germany. Driven by the concept of the museum as a public stage for the plaza, the design of the elevated platform and sculptural interior space both amplifies and reflects the public space of the surrounding Neumarkt.
